Wine Tasting

I met my friend Kitty, and her friend Brenda, for wine tasting in Santa Barbara this afternoon.  We visited two wine tasting rooms, Municipal Winemakers and Kunin.  We had a wonderful time at both places.

Our friends Tim and Connie and their kids sent Abigail a box of gifts for her birthday, which arrived this evening.  One of the gifts they sent is this Abigailosaurus piggy bank.  So cute!

Memories

I lost my cell phone last weekend so I had to reactivate my old cell phone so I have a phone to use.  It stinks that I lost my phone, but the silver lining is that I found all these pictures of Abigail in my old phone.  She was probably 2 or three months old in these pictures. The pictures bring back great memories of Abigail's first year.

Abigail's daycare teachers made this valentine for us.  It was a very sweet surprise.

Birthday Party

Abigail received a birthday party invitation from her friend Aubrey in the mail today.  Fun, fun, fun.

The Cracked Crab

We treated Ted's mom to dinner at the Cracked Crab in Pismo Beach last night to thank her for everything she has done for us the last 6 weeks.  We are really going to miss her.

Nap With Friends

Abigail will often invite her friends that sit on her crib railing into her crib with her during nap time.  This afternoon I found her with her friends surrounding her while she slept.

Confusion

Ted and I went car shopping this afternoon and I was going to post pictures of all of the different cars we saw, but since I lost my phone (BOO!), I guess the only confusion is where I left my phone.

Sleepy Head

This is what happens when Abigail wakes up at 4:00 and decides it is time to get up and play... On the way to school she sleeps.

I love coming home to see toys scattered around the living room.  It's a sign that Abigail had a very fun day.

These are a result of Abigail's 12-month checkup yesterday.  At least she seems to like the taste of both so it's not hard to get her to swallow them.

12-Month Appointment

Abigail all smiles before her 12-month checkup.  She might not have been so excited if she knew what was to come- 4 shots, one in each arm and one in each leg.  But she handled it like a champ.  I was very proud of her.
