Today was apple day in Abigail's class.

Long Overdue

I've needed new glasses for about ten years and I finally picked out new frames last week and I picked them up today.  Yea!

Heart Walk

Abigail and I participated in the American Heart Association heart walk this morning in Santa Barbara.  It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed spending time with my former co-workers.

I would love to know exactly what role Abigail had in creating this art piece.  Perhaps picking out the colors to be glued on to the ball?  I certainly know that she didn't cut out the shapes or glue them on to the ball.  Hmm... it makes me ponder.

Shapes Week

It's shapes week in Abigail's class and today was square day.

Party Favors

Unfortunately Abigail was not able to attend Arabel's party on Sunday so today I stopped by Arabel's house to drop off her birthday gift.  Arabel's mom gave me these party favors for Abigail.  Arabel had a princess themed party so the favors were a Cinderella apron, two princess wands, a princess crown, a jewelry box and a gift bag with a hair bow, rubber ducky and a book. 

Scholastic Books

I loved picking Scholastic books when I was in school so I was excited to see this order form in Abigail's cubby at school.  Of course I ordered several books for Abigail.

5K

Ted has been running for several years and this morning he participated in his first 5k race.  Abigail and I were glad we were able to cheer him on.

Morning At The Mission

We spent the morning at the Lompoc Mission feeding the animals and enjoying the beautiful weather.  After the Mission we stopped for lunch at Alfie's Fish and Chips.
